Quetta: Foolproof Security and Comprehensive Facilities Planned for Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Processions
Quetta: On the special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Provincial Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau, Home Adviser Babar Yousafzai held an important consultative meeting with prominent Sunni scholars to review administrative and security arrangements for the central processions marking 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal and Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
Government Measures for Peaceful and Dignified Celebrations
During the meeting, Home Adviser Babar Yousafzai briefed the scholars on the government’s security plan and municipal arrangements. He stated that the provincial government would prioritize the provision of essential and logistical facilities for participants of the processions.
Key Decisions and Measures
- Foolproof security: CCTV cameras will be installed along procession routes, while a large contingent of police and security personnel will be deployed.
- Government support: On the Chief Minister’s directives, sanitation, lighting and medical camps will be arranged along the procession routes.
- Continuous coordination: Authorities and procession organizers agreed to maintain an active coordination room throughout the event to ensure timely communication and response.
Religious Scholars Express Satisfaction and Pledge Cooperation
The religious scholars participating in the delegation appreciated the provincial government’s advance security and administrative preparations and expressed their satisfaction.
The scholars reaffirmed that the celebrations marking the arrival of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would be observed with religious devotion, respect and enthusiasm, while pledging full cooperation with the administration to maintain peace and security.
