Lahore (Sports Desk) Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel has said that the team’s performance in the Pakistan Super League has not been up to the standard that was expected.
While speaking in Lahore, he said that the results did not match the planning with which the team started the tournament. According to him, the performances of key players also did not meet expectations.
Saud Shakeel said that after the new auction, a new team combination was formed, which needs time to settle. He added that young player Khawaja Nafees also came under pressure, but needs to learn from these experiences.
Talking about his own performance, he said that he had a good start but could not maintain consistency in later matches. He added that he will continue to work hard and try to improve in the future.
