Quetta: The Balochistan government has launched wide-ranging initiatives to promote tourism in the province and develop and beautify natural recreational destinations. Under these projects, basic facilities are being improved in various districts, including Bolan, Khuzdar, Ziarat, and Harnai.

He noted that Balochistan’s 770-kilometre-long coastline has immense tourism potential, and comprehensive and coordinated planning is underway to promote it at both national and international levels.

The Director of Tourism invited domestic and foreign tourists to visit the province’s scenic and historic destinations, saying that Balochistan is a region rich in natural beauty. According to experts, the revival of the tourism sector and improvement of infrastructure will not only create extensive employment opportunities at the local level but also strengthen the economies of underdeveloped areas.
