President Commends Security Forces for Timely Action, Rescue of Hostages

President Asif Ali Zardari has paid rich tribute to the security forces for foiling an attempt to disrupt the movement of civilians on the Pakistan Highway in Balochistan’s Qalat district.

The President praised the timely and effective action by the forces, saying security personnel killed terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan and foiled a plan that could have caused significant destruction.

He also appreciated the forces’ professional role in safely rescuing the hostages from the terrorists’ hideout and recovering the trucks, buses and vehicles that had been seized.

President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed that the entire nation stands alongside its brave security forces in the fight against terrorism and said that peace and law and order would be ensured across the country at all costs.
