Lahore (Sports Desk) The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to launch an investigation after reports surfaced regarding national cricketer Muhammad Nawaz in connection with the use of a prohibited substance during the T20 World Cup.
According to cricket websites, Nawaz’s test came back positive during the World Cup, after which the International Cricket Council formally informed the PCB.
Reports stated that the test indicated the use of a recreational prohibited substance, prompting the PCB to begin an inquiry into the matter.
The Pakistan Cricket Board will also submit its initial report to the International Cricket Council in this regard.
