Pakistani Rice Expo in the Netherlands a Success, Large Participation from European Traders
Amsterdam — The Pakistani Rice Information and Trade Expo held in the Netherlands concluded successfully, attracting a large number of European traders and business representatives. The event proved to be a significant milestone in strengthening the global reputation of Pakistani rice. As a result, Pakistani Basmati rice is now being exported to more than 100 countries worldwide.
Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan welcomed the successful event and stated that the growing demand for Pakistani rice in European markets is clear evidence of the strong performance of Pakistan’s export sector. He emphasized that the government remains committed to facilitating the access of Pakistani agricultural and food products to international markets.
“Such international events play a key role in promoting national exports,” said Jam Kamal Khan. “We invite European investors and the business community to invest in Pakistan, where vast opportunities exist in the agricultural sector.”
Pakistan–Netherlands Bilateral Trade Reaches $1.94 Billion
Due to growing commercial ties, the total volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and the Netherlands has reached $1.94 billion. The Commerce Minister believes that strengthening relations with European countries will not only increase Pakistan’s exports but also open new avenues for foreign investment.
