Pakistan Navy’s Multidimensional Maritime Exercise ‘SEASPARK 2026’ Officially Begins in Karachi

The Pakistan Navy’s largest and most significant biennial maritime exercise, SEASPARK-2026, has officially commenced in Karachi. The exercise aims to assess the Navy’s combat capabilities for defending Pakistan’s maritime frontiers and responding effectively to emerging security threats.

Naval Chief Presides Over Opening Briefing with Participation of All Three Armed Forces

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Chief of the Naval Staff presided over the opening briefing of the exercise in Karachi, which was attended by senior military officials from all three branches of Pakistan’s armed forces.

The exercise features Pakistan Navy warships, submarines, aircraft, unmanned aerial systems (drones), Marines and Special Forces, along with units from the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force.

Key Objectives and Features of the Exercise

Multi-Domain Operations: Practical integration of advanced capabilities across maritime, air and land domains, along with cyber and space-based technologies.

Joint Operational Coordination: Testing seamless joint operational strategies and coordination among the Pakistan Navy, Army and Air Force on the maritime front.

Information Warfare Superiority: Strengthening operational effectiveness not only through conventional military capabilities but also by gaining an advantage in the information environment.

Addressing Emerging Threats and Maintaining Unwavering Readiness

Earlier, the Naval Chief visited various units of the Pakistan Navy Fleet and conducted a detailed review of ongoing operational preparedness.

Addressing officers and personnel, he emphasized that the evolving security environment in the region requires unwavering operational readiness and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. He stressed that these measures are essential to ensuring the defense of Pakistan’s maritime frontiers under all circumstances.
