Pakistan Army Completes Restoration of Model School in Nankana Sahib
Nankana Sahib (Web Desk) — The Pakistan Army has taken a major step toward promoting education and public welfare by completing the comprehensive renovation and restoration of the deteriorated Government High School located in Canada Colony, Nankana Sahib. The renovated school was formally inaugurated to provide local children with a safe, modern and conducive learning environment.
Modern Infrastructure, Water Filtration Plant and Computer Lab
Under the supervision of the Pakistan Army, the school’s deteriorated building has been extensively renovated and upgraded. The restoration project focused on providing quality facilities across various areas while keeping students’ educational and basic needs in view.
Modern Facilities and Key Features
New teaching blocks: Modern classrooms, a spacious principal’s office and a comfortable staff room have been established.
IT infrastructure: A modern computer laboratory has been set up to provide students with access to digital education and technology.
Basic facilities and health: A modern water filtration plant has been installed to provide clean drinking water, along with newly constructed washroom blocks.
Safety and extracurricular activities: A new boundary wall has been constructed around the school, while the playground has been fully restored and swings have been installed for children.
Local residents and teachers warmly appreciated the Pakistan Army’s initiative, saying that the improved infrastructure would enable children to develop their abilities in a safe and modern environment and contribute positively to the country’s future.
