Peshawar / Dir — The Pakistan Army and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police are working side by side to eliminate terrorism from the province, while local communities have expressed strong appreciation for the professional services of the security forces. The Peshawar Corps Commander visited Dir district to express solidarity with police officers and personnel, while military leadership further strengthened public engagement in Lakki Marwat.

Peshawar Corps Commander Visits Dir, Recognizes Police Sacrifices

During his visit to Dir district, the Peshawar Corps Commander praised the police for their role on the counter-terrorism front.

Participation of Senior Leadership: The meeting was attended by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, senior police officers and representatives of the civil administration.

Tribute to Sacrifices: The Corps Commander openly commended the exceptional courage, sacrifices and leadership demonstrated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police personnel during ongoing counter-terrorism operations.

GOC Visits Lakki Marwat Bazaar, Strengthens Public Engagement

Meanwhile, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Pakistan Army visited Lakki Marwat Bazaar, where local residents and traders warmly welcomed him.

Distribution of Relief Items and Rewards: The Pakistan Army distributed ration bags among deserving families, while police personnel performing their duties were presented with cash rewards.

Public Engagement and Coordination: During the visit, the GOC showed affection toward children and discussed law-and-order matters with local elders.
