Pakistan and Balochistan Are Inseparable; No Compromise on National Security: Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (Web Desk): Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that Pakistan and Balochistan are inseparable and will remain united forever. He made it clear that no compromise can be made on the security of the state or national sovereignty; however, the doors remain open for all forms of dialogue conducted within the framework of the Constitution of Pakistan.

He expressed these views while addressing participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan in Quetta. The chief minister spoke in detail about key government policies concerning governance, security, development affairs and employment opportunities for young people in the province.

Clarification of Anti-State Elements’ Ideology and Misconceptions About Development

In his address, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti rejected the perception that uneven development or backwardness is the primary cause of violence. He said that Turbat and several other areas of Balochistan are more developed today than they were in the past, yet so-called movements remain active there.

He stressed that anti-state elements are not pursuing an agenda to eliminate backwardness or promote development; rather, they seek to impose their particular ideology through the force of arms.

To put this commitment into practice, the provincial government is turning to the latest technology. Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced that an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system would be introduced in Balochistan to make government recruitment completely transparent and eliminate the culture of favouritism and bribery, ensuring that deserving candidates receive their due rights.
