Operation Shaban Seen as a Guarantor of Peace in Balochistan and Gains International Recognition

Quetta: Security forces conducting the ongoing Operation Shaban to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan and restore the writ of the state have successfully targeted hideouts belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. The operation is now also receiving significant attention at the international level.

According to a recent report by the prominent international publication The Diplomat, the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and police jointly launched Operation Shaban following a terrorist attack near Mangi Dam. Hundreds of terrorists have reportedly been killed so far in coordinated ground and aerial operations conducted during the campaign.

Destruction of Terrorist Networks and a Long-Term Strategy

The international publication stated that Fitna al-Khawarij, described as allied with the Afghan Taliban, and Fitna al-Hindustan had been targeting development projects and security forces in Balochistan.

Operation Shaban has been designed as a long-term military campaign aimed at dismantling these terrorist networks and eliminating their operational infrastructure.
