Operation Shaban Intensifies in Balochistan; Three More Khawarij Terrorists Killed

Quetta/Islamabad: Three more Khawarij terrorists have been killed during the ongoing large-scale crackdown by security forces against terrorist networks in Balochistan.

Security sources confirmed that the joint Operation Shaban, being conducted by the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and police, is progressing successfully and has inflicted heavy human and material losses on terrorist networks.

Aerial and Ground Operations in Difficult Terrain

According to security sources, the forces targeted terrorist hideouts in highly inaccessible and mountainous areas of the province on the basis of intelligence information.

Ground troops received aerial support during the coordinated operation, enabling the forces to destroy terrorist safe havens and eliminate three more militants.

Security sources said:

“Operation Shaban will continue with full force until the last terrorist is eliminated from Balochistan, and no effort will be spared to restore peace and public order.”

Key Figures from Operation Shaban So Far

Effective and consecutive actions by security forces have further tightened the noose around militant elements. The latest figures are as follows:

Terrorists killed in Operation Shaban: A total of 91 Khawarij terrorists have been killed during Operation Shaban so far.

Overall fatalities since July 5: A total of 129 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations launched since July 5.

Joint strategy: Cooperation among the Pakistan Army, FC and police is proving highly effective in efforts to eliminate terrorism completely.

Unwavering Resolve Against Terrorism

Security sources reiterated that indiscriminate operations against elements challenging the writ of the State of Pakistan will continue until their complete elimination.

The objective is to ensure lasting peace along with economic and social stability across the province.
