Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3: Terrorists’ Attempt to Block Roads Foiled in Balochistan’s Kharan
Quetta / Kharan: Security forces have foiled a major attempt by terrorist elements to carry out sabotage and block movement in Kharan district of Balochistan as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, launched to restore peace and stability and dismantle terrorist networks in the province.
Escape Routes Blocked as Search and Clearance Operation Intensifies
According to security sources, personnel from intelligence agencies and security forces took positions in sensitive and surrounding areas of Kharan and established strict blockades along potential escape routes.
Key Operational Developments
- Road-blocking attempt foiled: Security forces successfully thwarted an alleged attempt by Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists to disrupt movement and spread fear in the area.
- Extensive cordon: Entry and exit routes of the district were sealed to restrict the movement of suspected terrorists within the targeted area.
- Search and clearance operation: Ground forces are continuing search and clearance operations to eliminate terrorist elements from the area.
