Islamabad (Balochistan News Desk) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting with US Ambassador Natalie Baker, during which both sides exchanged detailed views on the latest regional situation and efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability.
During the meeting, discussions were also held on ongoing diplomatic efforts for holding a second round of negotiations in Islamabad.
Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the decision by US President Donald Trump to extend the ceasefire, describing it as a positive step toward reducing tensions. He emphasized that sustained diplomatic engagement is essential for a lasting resolution and expressed hope that all parties would prioritize a peaceful solution.
He further stated that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir are making comprehensive efforts at all levels to resolve the issue, while expressing optimism about positive developments from Iran.
On the occasion, Natalie Baker appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and resolving conflicts, terming diplomatic efforts as crucial.
