Modern IT Hub Inaugurated in Pishin to Empower Local Youth

Pishin — Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) Balochistan (North), Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, visited Pishin on August 11, 2026, where he inaugurated a state-of-the-art Information Technology Hub completed under Phase II of the Balochistan Social Development Initiative (BSDI) at a total cost of Rs. 48.6 million.

The modern IT hub aims to equip young people in the area with digital knowledge, technological expertise, and technical skills, helping them access new educational and employment opportunities.

Promoting Digital Education for a Brighter Future

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba emphasized the growing importance of information technology education in today’s digital age.

He said that the new facility would provide students in Pishin with access to modern computer education and online learning opportunities at the local level, contributing to the region’s educational and economic development.

Local Community Welcomes the Initiative

Local elders and residents welcomed the establishment of the modern IT hub, describing it as an important step toward creating better opportunities for the younger generation.
