Citizen Safety is Top Priority; Services to Restored as Situation Normalizes, Says Advisor Babar Yousafzai

Cellular mobile data and internet services have been temporarily suspended across Quetta city due to emerging security concerns, officials confirmed. Advisor to the Balochistan Government on Interior Affairs, Babar Yousafzai, stated that the suspension is a short-term precautionary measure implemented to ensure public safety.


In an official statement, Yousafzai explained that mobile data services have been deactivated for a few hours. He emphasized that safeguarding the lives and property of citizens remains the provincial government's ultimate priority, and the administration had to take this preventive step to maintain law and order.


Interior Department Apologizes for Inconvenience, Urges Public to Avoid Rumors

Addressing the public disruption caused by the digital blackout, the Interior Advisor expressed regret over the temporary inconvenience faced by the residents of Quetta.

The Balochistan government has strongly urged citizens to remain calm and strictly avoid paying attention to unverified reports or malicious rumors circulating during the service outage.
