Miracle in Duki: Six Miners Successfully Rescued After 15-Hour Operation in Balochistan

Swift Joint Action by FC Balochistan and Rescue 1122 Saves Lives After Gas Accumulation in Coal Mine

In a dramatic and highly coordinated rescue operation, all six coal miners trapped inside a deep mine in the Duki area of Loralai district, Balochistan, have been safely evacuated after a grueling 15-hour ordeal.

The crisis began when a lethal accumulation of toxic gas trapped the laborers deep within the mine shaft. Responding instantly to the emergency, contingents of FC Balochistan (North), alongside local rescue teams, rushed to the site to initiate a high-stakes joint recovery mission.

Seamless Inter-Agency Coordination Ensures Success

The success of the operation is being credited to the rapid response and exceptional professionalism demonstrated by multiple departments. Working in tandem under extreme conditions, personnel from the Frontier Corps (FC), local police, Rescue 1122, and the civil administration utilized all available resources to breach the hazardous zone.

Key Detail: The rescue workers battled dangerous gas levels and structural risks for 15 consecutive hours before successfully reaching and extracting all six trapped individuals.

Commendation from Local Community and Recovery Status

Upon their safe extraction, the miners were immediately administered critical first aid at the site by medical teams. They were subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for comprehensive medical evaluation and monitoring. Currently, all survivors are reported to be in stable condition.

The local community, mine workers' associations, and regional administration have highly lauded the timely intervention and tireless efforts of the security forces and rescue departments, noting that the swift deployment of resources directly averted a major tragedy.
