MDCAT 2026: Additional Exam Centre Established in Islamabad for Balochistan Students

Islamabad: In a major relief for aspiring medical students from Balochistan, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially approved an additional MDCAT 2026 examination centre in Islamabad.

According to a public notice issued by PMDC, the additional examination centre will be established in collaboration with Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMS), Quetta. The initiative aims to facilitate candidates holding Balochistan domicile who are currently residing in Islamabad, saving them from unnecessary travel and accommodation expenses.

Key Details

• Eligibility: Only candidates with a permanent domicile of Balochistan will be eligible to appear at the Islamabad examination centre.
• Online Registration: PMDC has advised all eligible candidates to complete their registration through the official online portal as soon as possible.
• Nationwide Examination: MDCAT 2026 will be conducted simultaneously across Pakistan on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

Registration Deadline

According to the PMDC schedule, the last date for online registration with the normal fee is July 8, 2026, while candidates can register with a late fee until July 13, 2026. Applicants are advised to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience.
