Major Security Operation in Balochistan: 68 Square Kilometres Cleared
Security forces have reported a major success under “Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3” as operations against militant elements continue across Balochistan.
According to security sources, forces conducted a comprehensive search and sanitization operation in the sensitive areas of Kambela and Asimabad, clearing approximately 68 square kilometres of territory of suspected militant elements.
Fitna al-Hindustan Suffers Losses; Commander Shaukat Mama Injured
During the operation, intense clashes reportedly took place between security forces and militants belonging to the Indian-sponsored group referred to by Pakistani authorities as “Fitna al-Hindustan.”
Key developments reported during the operation include:
- Three Militants Killed: Three militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan were killed, while security forces recovered the bodies of two of them.
- Four Militants Injured: Four militants were reportedly seriously wounded in the operation, including a key commander identified as Shaukat Mama.
- 12 Suspects Detained: During the search operation, 12 individuals suspected of facilitating militant activities were taken into custody and transferred to an undisclosed location for investigation.
- Hideouts Destroyed: Security forces reportedly demolished militant hideouts in the area, removed Fitna al-Hindustan flags and hoisted the national flag.
Operations to Continue Until Terrorism is Eliminated
Security officials reiterated that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 would continue with full force and a coordinated strategy until foreign-sponsored militant elements are eliminated from Balochistan and lasting peace and stability are established across the province.
