Major Development in Mining Sector: Japanese Company Sumitomo Interested in Investing in Pakistan

Islamabad (Web Desk) — Significant progress has been made in attracting foreign investment to Pakistan’s mining sector as a result of the effective strategy and facilitation provided by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

Following an invitation from SIFC, renowned Japanese company Sumitomo Corporation has decided to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan’s mineral resources and new mining projects.
