Loralai police operation: opium crop on two acres destroyed, case registered

Quetta (Balochistan News) Loralai police carried out an anti-narcotics operation and destroyed an opium (tariak) crop cultivated over two acres of land.

According to details, a joint operation was conducted in Killi Pathankot under the supervision of SDPO Sadar Ghulam Akbar, involving SHO City Loralai Shaheed Muhammad Ashraf Tareen, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sharif Musakhail, Additional SHO Muhammad Jahangir, Eagle Squad, and other personnel.

During the operation, the illegally cultivated opium crop on approximately two acres of land was destroyed on the spot.

Police said that a case has been registered under the Control of Narcotics Substances Act against the landowner Abdul Ghaani, while further investigation is underway.

Police officials stated that operations against drugs will continue without interruption in the area, and strict legal action will be taken against those involved.
