Law and order situation in Chaman satisfactory, further improvement possible: Deputy Commissioner Chaman

Chaman (Balochistan News) An important meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner Office Chaman under the chairmanship of Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai to review the overall law and order situation in the district.

Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmed Bangalzai briefed the participants in detail about the performance of police and other law enforcement agencies and the security arrangements. He said that Chaman is an important district from border and geographical perspectives, where maintaining law and order requires round-the-clock alertness.

He said that snap checking, patrolling, and surprise search operations are ongoing at entry and exit points of the district, while strict monitoring of suspicious individuals, vehicles, and motorcyclists is being carried out. Personnel of law enforcement agencies are performing their duties in a professional manner in various capacities.

On this occasion, the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly termed the law and order situation in Chaman as satisfactory overall, adding that there is room for further improvement. He emphasized that the protection of life and property of the public is the foremost responsibility of the district administration and all institutions should play their full role in making Chaman a cradle of peace.
