Kharan E-Commerce IT Centre Creates New Employment Opportunities for Youth

Quetta: Under the Balochistan Socio-Economic Development Initiative, efforts to empower young people and expand employment opportunities across the province are progressing rapidly. As part of this initiative, Kharan Rifles has established a modern E-Commerce IT Centre in Kharan. Four qualified instructors are providing students with practical training in the latest digital technologies and e-commerce skills.

E-Commerce Labs to Be Established in 150 Colleges by December 2026

A comprehensive plan has been developed to strengthen Balochistan's IT infrastructure. Under the plan, E-Commerce Laboratories will be established in 150 public and private colleges across the province by December 2026.

According to the latest progress:

  • E-commerce laboratories have either been completed or are in the final stages of development in 40 colleges.
  • Around 15,000 graduates are expected to benefit annually by gaining employment opportunities and access to international digital markets through these laboratories.
