Kashmir Exploitation Day Observed Across Pakistan in Solidarity with the People of Kashmir

Protests and Solidarity Events Held Across the Federal Capital, All Four Provinces, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir

Islamabad / Muzaffarabad (Web Desk) — Kashmir Exploitation Day was observed across Pakistan with demonstrations, seminars, and public awareness events to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir. The observance marked the anniversary of India's revocation of the special constitutional status of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in 2019.

Rallies, seminars, and awareness campaigns were organized in the federal capital, all four provinces, and across Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where participants voiced support for the people of Kashmir and criticized India's actions in the region.

Large Public Gatherings Held Across Azad Jammu & Kashmir

In Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, large numbers of people participated in rallies protesting India's actions in the region. A major procession was also held at Chowk-e-Shuhada in Mirpur, attended by people from various walks of life.

Educational institutions across Azad Jammu and Kashmir organized awareness programs to educate students about the history and significance of the Kashmir dispute.

Nationwide Solidarity Rallies

Solidarity events were also held in all four provinces:

  • Sindh: A large rally was organized in Karachi from Jamia Masjid Bait-ul-Mukarram, where participants, including youth, elders, and members of civil society, carried the flags of Pakistan and Kashmir.
  • Punjab: Walks and seminars were held in Lahore, Daska, and Hafizabad, organized by government and non-government organizations to express support for the people of Kashmir.
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Demonstrators in Dera Ismail Khan called on the international community to take notice of the situation in Kashmir and urged the implementation of relevant United Nations resolutions.
  • Balochistan: Rallies and public gatherings were organized in Washuk, Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, and Hub, where participants reaffirmed their moral, political, and diplomatic support for the people of Kashmir.

The nationwide events reflected continued public expressions of solidarity with the people of Kashmir and reiterated calls for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue in accordance with international commitments and dialogue.
