Islamabad (Balochistan News) The Federal Constitutional Court has fixed the hearing of a case related to the removal of encroachments in Karachi.
According to court sources, a contempt of court petition against provincial leader Saeed Ghani has also been included with the case. The petition was filed in 2019 over allegations of non-compliance with court orders.
The case will be heard on April 30 by a two-member bench headed by Justice Amir Farooq. Notices have been issued to all relevant parties.
It is worth noting that the Karachi encroachment case has been pending for several years, during which the performance of various institutions has also come under review.
