ITIF Asia 2026: Governor Sindh Inaugurates Landmark Industrial Fair; Major MoUs Signed with Chinese Firms

The 23rd International Trade and Industrial Fair (ITIF Asia 2026) officially commenced at the Karachi Expo Centre, marking a new chapter in Pakistan’s industrial growth and international economic collaboration. The event is organized through a strategic partnership between the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan.

Inauguration by Governor Sindh

Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony for ITIF Asia 2026, hailing it as a pivotal platform for showcasing Pakistan's industrial potential. During his address, he emphasized that such exhibitions are crucial for attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and strengthening the national economy.


Major Breakthroughs: Pak-China Industrial MoUs

The first day of the exhibition witnessed significant diplomatic and economic activity. A prominent Chinese industrial group, IBI, signed multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading Pakistani trade and industrial entities. These agreements aim to foster joint ventures, technology transfers, and enhanced industrial cooperation between the two neighboring nations.


Sector-Specific Showcases

The fair features specialized exhibitions focusing on high-impact sectors, including, Engineering and Machine Tools, Minerals and Mining,Oil & Gas Technology,Plastics and Polymer Industry.


International delegates and industry experts have termed ITIF Asia 2026 a "game-changer" for the region, noting that it provides an effective bridge for global business networking and the development of joint industrial projects.
