ISPR Summer Internship Students Visit PMA Kakul Academy
Kakul — Students from leading universities across Pakistan participating in the ISPR Summer Internship Programme 2026 undertook a one-day study visit to the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul. The primary objective of the visit was to provide the younger generation with firsthand exposure to the country’s defence requirements, the process of preparing military leadership and the demanding training environment at the academy.
Cadets’ Parade, Discipline and Training Facilities Inspected
During the visit, the interns observed various sections of the academy, training grounds and classrooms. At the PMA Parade Ground, the students witnessed a highly organized and dignified drill by cadets, which greatly impressed the participants with the cadets’ exceptional physical fitness, punctuality and strong discipline.

Special session with the Commandant: The students held a detailed meeting with the Commandant of Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, who briefed them on the academy’s core mission and its approach to addressing modern warfare challenges.
Interaction with cadets and lady cadets: The students interacted with male and lady cadets undergoing training and learned about their demanding daily routines, disciplined environment and academic commitments.
Observation of training phases: Participants witnessed field training, obstacle courses and academic sessions, gaining practical insight into the various stages of military training.
