Washington (Showbiz Desk): The United States government has confirmed that entry visas have been issued to Iran’s national football team for participation in the World Cup tournament in the United States.
According to foreign media reports, U.S. officials stated that all necessary travel arrangements for the Iranian players and accompanying delegation have been completed, enabling the team to travel to the United States for the competition.
Iran will begin its campaign on June 15 with its first Group G match against New Zealand. The match will be played in Los Angeles.
The Iranian team’s second fixture will also take place in Los Angeles against Belgium, while its third group-stage match against Egypt will be played in Seattle.
