Message from the Defenders of the Border: Alert Pakistan Army personnel deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) conveyed Independence Day greetings to the entire nation.
Firm Commitment to National Defence: The soldiers said that the strength and honour of the national flag are rooted in the sacrifices of the martyrs, and that no compromise will ever be made on the country’s defence.
Solidarity with Kashmiris: They reaffirmed their moral and principled support for the people of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir in their struggle for the right to self-determination.
Strategic Cooperation: The Makkah Joint Defence Agreement was described as an important symbol of unity, mutual trust and regional stability among Muslim countries.

Rawalpindi / Line of Control — On the joyous occasion of Independence Day, Pakistan Army personnel deployed along the country’s borders, particularly the Line of Control (LoC), conveyed a message of unwavering loyalty, courage and commitment to national defence.
The soldiers congratulated the nation on Independence Day, paid tribute to the sacrifices of the martyrs and reaffirmed their determination to defend Pakistan’s geographical and ideological frontiers without hesitation.
They said that August 14 stands as a living reminder that freedom is achieved through immense sacrifice and preserved through steadfast resolve and national unity.
Commitment to Defending Pakistan from the Mountains to Every Frontier
Personnel deployed along the LoC said:
“From snow-covered mountains to scorching deserts, the Pakistan Army places the security of the homeland above everything else. This green and white flag carries the sacred legacy of our martyrs, and every soldier remains determined to defend its honour until his last breath.”
The soldiers also expressed solidarity with the people of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir and their struggle for self-determination.
They further described the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as a historic step toward greater mutual trust, defence coordination and lasting peace across the Muslim world.
