IBA Karachi Islamabad Campus Groundbreaking Ceremony Held at DHA Islamabad
Islamabad: A major partnership between DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi and the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi has been established to promote higher education in the capital. Under the initiative, the foundation stone of IBA’s modern Islamabad campus was laid at DHA Islamabad Phase 5.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by IBA Karachi Executive Director Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi, the Administrator of DHA Islamabad and other senior academic and military officials. Distinguished guests also planted a commemorative sapling at the campus site.
State-of-the-Art Infrastructure and Global-Standard Facilities
The new Islamabad campus will be developed as a comprehensive educational centre equipped with modern facilities. The project includes state-of-the-art academic blocks, a research centre, a digital library and an international-standard auditorium.
The campus will also feature a modern sports complex and quality hostel facilities, providing students from Islamabad and other parts of Pakistan with a secure and comfortable learning environment.

Addressing the ceremony, IBA Karachi Executive Director Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi described the Islamabad campus as a major milestone for Pakistan’s education sector. He said the campus would advance IBA’s vision of promoting knowledge, research and social development.
He emphasized that the project represents more than the foundation of a building; it is an investment in developing Pakistan’s future leaders by providing world-class higher education to young people from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir.
