Grand Independence Day Ceremony in Gwadar: CM Balochistan and Senior Officials Attend, Cultural Heritage Takes Centre Stage

Gwadar — Like the rest of the country, Balochistan is celebrating Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with national enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. A grand and dignified ceremony was held in Gwadar, attended by senior government and military officials as well as prominent political, social and religious figures.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Commander Quetta Corps, GOC, and members of the local fishing community, reflecting a strong spirit of national unity.

Strong Participation from Local Community and Fishermen

The Gwadar ceremony witnessed significant participation from people belonging to different walks of life.

Public Participation: A large number of local fishermen, young people and citizens attended the event.

Message of Unity and Peace: Speakers highlighted the importance of peace, development and love for Pakistan while paying tribute to Gwadar’s youth and rich local culture.

Traditional Leva Dance and Tribute to Quaid-e-Azam

Alongside the patriotic celebrations, the event also showcased the vibrant cultural heritage of Balochistan.

Cultural and National Songs: Renowned and local artists performed national songs as well as traditional Balochi music.

Traditional Leva Dance: A cultural group’s traditional Leva dance and a special tableau presented by children received enthusiastic appreciation from the audience.

Documentaries: Special documentaries and videos highlighting the life of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and important national themes were also screened.

The Independence Day ceremony in Gwadar concluded with a strong display of patriotism, national unity and Balochistan’s rich cultural traditions.
