General Syed Aamer Assumes Command of National Strategic Command, Meets Field Marshal Asim at GHQ

Rawalpindi — General Syed Aamer Raza, Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), Basalat Medal, has assumed charge as Commander National Strategic Command. He was presented with a Guard of Honour upon his arrival at General Headquarters.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), after assuming command, the newly appointed commander visited the Yadgar-e-Shuhada, laid a floral wreath, and offered Fateha to pay tribute to the valiant martyrs of the Pakistan Army who sacrificed their lives for the country.

Guard of Honour:

General Syed Aamer Raza was presented with a ceremonial salute upon assuming command of the National Strategic Command.

He laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country and the nation.

Meeting with the Army Chief:

Soon after assuming office, the Commander National Strategic Command met the Chief of Army Staff at GHQ.
