Quetta (Web Desk): Terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on shops in Mashkel, an area of Washuk district in Balochistan, killing five labourers belonging to Punjab.
Law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched a search operation, while the Government of Balochistan took serious notice of the incident and ordered a transparent investigation.

According to sources, unidentified armed terrorists targeted shops in Mashkel and opened indiscriminate fire. Five labourers were killed at the scene in the tragic attack. The victims reportedly belonged to different districts of Punjab.
The terrorists managed to escape after carrying out the attack. Security forces subsequently sealed the area and launched an investigation to apprehend those responsible.
Shahid Rind Condemns Attack: Conspiracy to Disrupt Peace Will Not Succeed
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind strongly condemned the Mashkel firing incident and said those responsible for killing innocent and unarmed civilians would not escape the law.
Shahid Rind’s key statement: “The government has taken immediate notice of the incident and ordered a transparent and impartial investigation. Law enforcement agencies have been directed to arrest the perpetrators without delay. No conspiracy to disturb peace and order in Balochistan will be allowed to succeed, and the state will ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property under all circumstances.”
Babar Yousafzai Condemns Killings: A Grave Crime Against Humanity
Babar Yousafzai, Assistant to the Balochistan Home Department, also described the brutal killing of the unarmed labourers as an open act of terrorism. He made it clear that the enemies of peace would meet an exemplary end.
