New York: With only a few days remaining before the start of the FIFA World Cup, participating teams are continuing to arrive in the host countries. The World Cup trophy was also unveiled in New York as part of the build-up to the tournament.

Brazil’s national football team has arrived in the United States, while travel permits have been issued by Mexico for Iran’s national team. During the World Cup, Mexico will serve as the Iranian team’s main base camp.

The Iranian squad is currently in Turkey and is scheduled to travel to Mexico on June 6.

For the first time in FIFA World Cup history, 48 teams will participate in the tournament, while a record 1,248 players are expected to showcase their talents.

The world’s biggest football event will be held from June 11 to July 19 across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
