QUETTA: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited Quetta Garrison, where he addressed officers and faculty members at the Command and Staff College, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During his address, the Field Marshal described the Command and Staff College as a symbol of high training standards, intellectual capability, and professional excellence.
He stressed the importance of keeping pace with modern warfare requirements, emerging technologies, and multi-domain operations. He urged officers and soldiers to continuously adapt and prepare themselves in line with the evolving security environment.
“Maintaining the highest standards of professional competence, readiness, and operational excellence is a national necessity,” he said.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also met officers and troops deployed in Balochistan, where he appreciated their operational preparedness and high morale.
He said that with the unwavering support of the people of Pakistan, the armed forces remain fully committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.
He further stated that Pakistan’s progress cannot be halted by propaganda, fake news, or externally sponsored terrorism, adding that attempts to undermine the country through proxies and misinformation would fail.
Highlighting the situation in Balochistan, he said sustainable peace and stability require public welfare, inclusive development, and effective governance.
He appreciated the Government of Balochistan for its efforts in public welfare, socio-economic development, and strengthening the state-citizen relationship.
The Field Marshal also lauded the role of security forces in maintaining peace, stability, and state authority in the province.
According to ISPR, upon arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was received by the Commander Quetta Corps.
