Field Marshal Asim Munir:Balochistan and Pakistan Share One Future, Foreign Proxies Will Be Defeated
Rawalpindi / Quetta: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS and CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, held a special meeting with prominent tribal elders and political leaders from Balochistan.
During the meeting, the Field Marshal emphasized that the present and future of Balochistan and Pakistan are permanently interconnected, adding that the province’s people are its greatest strength.
Sustainable Peace, Economic Potential and Effective Use of Resources
Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted Balochistan’s vast natural and human resources, stressing that sustainable peace and a clear national vision are essential to transforming these resources into tangible prosperity for the people of the province.

Empowering Youth: He described Balochistan’s youth as one of the most dynamic and talented segments of society, emphasizing that providing them with opportunities and integrating them into the national mainstream is essential for sustainable development.
Countering Foreign Proxies: He stated that Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan are foreign-backed proxies allegedly seeking to obstruct development and create divisions between the people and the state. He emphasized that national resolve and state institutions would continue efforts against such threats.
Countering Negative Propaganda: Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the importance of exposing what he described as false narratives and propaganda by hostile elements, adding that the future of Balochistan should be determined by its own people.
Tribal and Political Leadership Reaffirms Support for Peace and Development
Political leaders and tribal elders participating in the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to stand alongside the Pakistan Army and state institutions in promoting peace, stability and sustainable development in Balochistan.
Participants agreed on the need to counter hostile propaganda and emphasized that development and public-welfare initiatives could help open a new chapter of prosperity in the province.
