F-Class World Championship 2026: Junaid Ali Crowned World Champion, Pakistan Team Finishes Runner-Up

Bisley (UK): Pakistan’s rifle team delivered an outstanding performance at the 7th F-Class World Championship 2026, held at the historic Bisley shooting range in the United Kingdom, winning the individual world title and securing a silver medal in the team category.

Led by captain Ahsan Gulrez, the 12-member national squad competed in the F-TR category against leading shooters from around the world and emerged as the event’s highest medal-winning team.

Junaid Ali Makes History as Individual World Champion

Pakistani shooter Junaid Ali defeated 207 elite shooters from 24 countries across the demanding 800, 900 and 1,000-yard individual competitions to become the F-TR World Champion. His achievement marks one of Pakistan’s biggest individual successes in long-range shooting.

Medal Tally and Individual Achievements

Junaid Ali: Won 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal, securing the individual world championship title.

Muhammad Waleed: Contributed significantly to Pakistan’s success by winning 1 gold and 1 bronze medal.

Huzaifa Gul (Under-25): Delivered an impressive performance, winning 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Ahsan Gul: Won a bronze medal in the Under-25 category.

Overall Individual Medals: Pakistan’s national squad won a total of 13 individual medals — 4 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze — reportedly making it the best individual medal performance by any participating country.

Pakistan Finishes Runner-Up in Team Event

In the team matches held on August 15 and 16 over 800, 900 and 1,000 yards, Pakistan faced 11 strong international teams, including former world and European champions.

After an intense competition, the Pakistani shooters narrowly secured second place and won the silver medal in the team category.

Seven Pakistani shooters — Ahsan Gulrez, Junaid Ali, Waleed, Ubaid, Qasim, Huzaifa Gul and Junaid Waqas — finished among the world’s top 100 shooters.
