Young Doctors Association Balochistan Holds Press Conference in Islamabad, Presents Charter of Demands Over Hospital Security and Administrative Issues

Islamabad — Leaders of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan held an emergency press conference at the National Press Club Islamabad following the acid attack on Dr. Mah Noor and raised concerns about the security situation in government hospitals across Balochistan.

Addressing the media, YDA Balochistan Chairman Dr. Bahar Shah said that doctors in the province were working under constant security threats and alleged that the provincial bureaucracy had failed to respond effectively to the situation.

Concerns Over Administrative Issues

Dr. Bahar Shah criticized senior officials in the provincial health department, claiming that despite the serious attack on Dr. Mah Noor, repeated attempts over the past 15 days to meet the Balochistan Health Secretary had been unsuccessful.

He also questioned the administrative structure, alleging that a Grade-18 officer was serving in the position of Health Secretary, a post that he said should be held by a Grade-20 officer.

The YDA chairman further alleged that the Chief Secretary of Balochistan had failed to address issues affecting the health sector and said that young doctors who staged peaceful protests for their rights and security had faced suspensions and disciplinary action.

Young Doctors Association's Charter of Demands

During the press conference, YDA leaders said that doctors, teachers, and other public employees in Balochistan were facing significant challenges due to administrative issues. They emphasized that their objective was to ensure a safe working environment in hospitals.

The association presented the following demands:

• Judicial Inquiry: An immediate high-level judicial inquiry into the acid attack on Dr. Mah Noor.
• Suspension of Officials: Immediate suspension of the Balochistan Health Secretary and the Medical Superintendent (MS) of Civil Hospital.
• Enhanced Security: Comprehensive security measures for doctors and medical staff in all hospitals across Balochistan.
• Reinstatement of Doctors: Immediate and unconditional reinstatement of all young doctors who were suspended following peaceful protests.

The Young Doctors Association warned that if justice is not provided in Dr. Mah Noor's case and hospital security is not improved, it would expand its protest movement.

ڈاکٹر بہار شاہ گُشت که ڈاکٹر ماہ نورءَ سرا حملهءِ باوجود، گزشتہ ۱۵ روز ءَ سیکریٹری صحت بلوچستانءَ سرا ملاقاتءِ کوشش ناکام بوتگ.

اُو همچنین دعویٰ کُت که گریڈ ۲۰ ءِ پوسٹءَ یک گریڈ ۱۸ افسر تعینات انت، که اَئی نظرءَ قانونءِ خلاف ورزی انت.

اُو چیف سیکریٹری بلوچستانءَ هم تنقید کُت و گُشت که پرامن احتجاج کنگ والے ینگ ڈاکٹران معطل بوتگ و اَنانءِ حقوق نادیده گرفتگ بوتگ.

ینگ ڈاکٹرزءِ مهم مطالبات

ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن حکومتءَ پیش ایں مطالبات پیش کُت:

• جوڈیشل انکوائری: ڈاکٹر ماہ نورءِ تیزاب حملهءِ فوری اعلیٰ سطحی عدالتی تحقیقات.
• اعلیٰ چارواکانءِ معطلی: سیکریٹری صحت بلوچستان و سول اسپتالءِ ایم ایسءِ فوری معطلی.
• مکمل سیکیورٹی: بلوچستانءِ همه اسپتالانءَ ڈاکٹران و طبی عملهءَ فول پروف سیکیورٹی فراهم کنگ.
• بحالی: احتجاجءِ سبب معطل کنگ بوتگ همه ینگ ڈاکٹرانءِ بے شرط بحالی.

ینگ ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن خبردار کُت که اگر ڈاکٹر ماہ نورءَ انصاف نرسیت و اسپتالانءِ امنیت بہتر نه بیت، احتجاجانءِ دایره گسترده‌تر کنگ بیت.
