Quetta/Dasht: The Wing Officer of FC Balochistan (South) Dasht Scouts inaugurated the newly completed Water Supply Scheme in Dumb Bazaar under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI Phase I).
A large number of local elders, tribal leaders, dignitaries, and residents attended the inauguration ceremony. On the occasion, detailed briefings were also given regarding the importance of the project and the provision of clean drinking water in the area.
Addressing a Long-Standing Water Issue
The main objective of the water supply scheme is to ensure the availability of clean and safe drinking water for the residents of Dumb Bazaar and surrounding areas. For a long time, the local population had been facing serious issues related to water scarcity and lack of access to safe drinking water.
Continuation of Public Welfare Projects
Speaking at the ceremony, the speakers stated that under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), various public welfare projects are being completed in remote and underdeveloped areas of the province to improve access to basic facilities.
Local elders appreciated the completion of the water supply scheme and praised the efforts of FC Balochistan and relevant institutions. They expressed hope that more such development projects would continue in the future, contributing to the overall progress and prosperity of the region.
