DG ISPR Addresses More Than 6,000 Students During Summer Internship 2026
Rawalpindi (Staff Reporter): The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held a comprehensive and interactive session with more than 6,150 male and female students participating in the ISPR Summer Internship 2026 across 21 stations nationwide.
Discussion on National Security and Information Warfare
During the detailed session, the DG ISPR highlighted Pakistan’s defence, security situation, counterterrorism efforts and emerging challenges in the digital age.
Information Warfare and Social Media: Students were briefed on modern hybrid warfare, disinformation campaigns and ways to identify and counter misleading narratives spread through social media.
Question-and-Answer Session: The DG ISPR responded to students’ questions regarding the country’s current situation as well as foreign and defence policy.
Nationwide Participation: More than 6,150 students from 21 different stations across Pakistan are participating in this year’s Summer Internship Programme.
Informal Interaction and Goodwill Meeting
At the conclusion of the session, the DG ISPR interacted with the participants individually and in groups, inquired about their well-being and exchanged friendly remarks.
Students Show Strong Enthusiasm
The internship participants appreciated the strategic guidance provided on security and digital challenges. Many students also received autographs from the DG ISPR and said the session significantly enhanced their understanding of national defence and the evolving information environment.
