Deadly Crash in Balochistan: Tractor-Trolley Plunges into Ravine, Killing 5 of a Family

n a tragic road accident, at least five people—including women and children—lost their lives, and four others sustained critical injuries after a passenger tractor-trolley skidded off the road and fell into a deep ravine in the remote Qamar Din Karez (Kadd Khorasan) region of Balochistan.


Women and Children Among Victims

According to local police authorities, all the passengers traveling on the ill-fated vehicle belonged to the same family. The deceased have been identified as two women and three children.


The emergency responders confirmed that the injured individuals include two women and an eight-year-old child. They are being shifted to the nearest medical facility for trauma care and emergency treatment.


Rescue Operations Underway in Difficult Terrain

Due to the mountainous and rugged topography of the area, rescue teams faced initial logistical challenges. Local authorities, Levies personnel, and rescue teams immediately rushed to the site to retrieve the bodies and extract the trapped survivors from the deep gorge.


Investigation Status: Preliminary reports suggest the driver lost control of the heavy vehicle while navigating a sharp, unpaved curve. Law enforcement agencies have initiated a formal inquiry into the accident.
