QUETTA :Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has taken strong notice of the tragic acid attack involving a female Post Graduate (PG) doctor at Civil Hospital Quetta. The Chief Minister has demanded an immediate inquiry report from top law enforcement and hospital officials.
Medical Evacuation and High-End Healthcare Provision
Providing an update on the victim's condition, Special Assistant to the CM Balochistan, Shahid Rind, stated that the affected doctor has been shifted to the Aria Institute of Medical Sciences, Quetta, for specialized treatment.
The provincial government has placed an air ambulance on high alert to immediately airlift the doctor to Karachi if advanced medical intervention becomes necessary. CM Bugti has issued strict directives to ensure that no stone is left unturned in providing the victim with the best possible medical care.
Police Mobilized: CCTV Footage Utilized for Suspect Identification
Law enforcement agencies have launched a high-priority investigation into the assault.
"Multi-dimensional investigations are underway, and the process of identifying the suspect using CCTV footage has been expedited," Shahid Rind confirmed.
Special directives have been issued to security forces for the immediate arrest of the perpetrator. The government spokesperson vowed that the culprit will be apprehended at all costs and subjected to the full severity of the law.
Furthermore, the Balochistan government emphasized that the security of female doctors and medical staff remains an absolute priority, and zero tolerance will be shown toward any breach of hospital safety protocols.
