QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said the province is entering a new era of digital governance, transparency, and innovation through the introduction of modern technological reforms.
In his message on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day, the chief minister announced that the provincial government has introduced its first-ever Digital Media Policy 2026, describing it as a major milestone in communication and governance reforms.
Bugti said the government is implementing advanced digital systems to strengthen transparency, merit, and good governance across various departments.
He highlighted the introduction of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based recruitment system aimed at ensuring fairness, transparency, and efficiency in the hiring process.
The chief minister stated that technology-driven governance would help improve public service delivery and institutional performance in the province.
He added that the government is committed to adopting modern digital solutions to build a more transparent and efficient administrative system in Balochistan.
Bugti also emphasized the importance of information technology and digital connectivity in addressing governance challenges and promoting development in the province.
