CM Sarfraz Bugti Pledges Employment Opportunities for Youth Across Balochistan, Including Gwadar

Quetta — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced a series of development initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities for young people across all districts of the province, with particular emphasis on Gwadar. He said the provincial government is committed to promoting youth employment and economic empowerment through practical measures.

Reviewing his government's performance, the Chief Minister stated that wide-ranging institutional reforms have already been implemented. These include improvements to the government pension system, the introduction of a modern Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy, and the restructuring of various public sector institutions to strengthen governance and improve public service delivery.

Rs. 4 Billion Digital Connectivity Initiative for Education and Healthcare

The Chief Minister also announced a major investment package to modernize the education and healthcare sectors.

Key Initiatives

  • Digital Connectivity: The provincial government has allocated Rs. 4 billion to provide high-speed internet connectivity to educational institutions and healthcare facilities across Balochistan.
  • Scholarships for Students: Merit- and need-based scholarship programs will be expanded to support talented students in pursuing higher education without financial barriers.

Commitment to Rule of Law

Speaking on the security situation, Sarfraz Bugti reiterated that the government would not compromise on maintaining the rule of law.
