ISLAMABAD: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti met National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday to discuss matters of mutual interest, the country’s political situation, federal-provincial cooperation, and the overall development of Balochistan.
During the meeting, CM Sarfraz Bugti briefed the NA Speaker on ongoing development projects in Balochistan, the law and order situation, and public welfare initiatives being undertaken by the provincial government.
The chief minister emphasized that sustainable development in Balochistan and the province’s effective inclusion in the national mainstream require strong federal support and coordination.
Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq assured full cooperation at the federal level for the development and stability of Balochistan. He stated that Balochistan holds key importance in Pakistan’s progress and prosperity, adding that joint efforts would continue to address the issues faced by the people of the province.
The meeting also included discussions on parliamentary affairs, inter-provincial harmony, and the country’s overall political environment.
