QUETTA: Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan has directed all provincial departments to ensure transparency, efficiency, and improved public service delivery across the province.
Chairing a meeting of the Secretaries Committee, the Chief Secretary reviewed ongoing development projects, the disposal of old government vehicles, and broader institutional reforms aimed at strengthening governance.
He emphasized the need for timely completion of development schemes and instructed all officers to remain present at their respective postings to effectively address public issues and ensure prompt service delivery.
Shakeel Qadir Khan stressed that good governance depends on accountability, discipline, and active field presence of administrative officers, adding that negligence at any level would not be tolerated.
He also stated that efforts are underway to coordinate with the federal government to fill vacant posts under the provincial quota, which would help create employment opportunities for the youth of Balochistan.
The meeting underscored the provincial government’s commitment to administrative reforms, transparency, and improved public service delivery mechanisms.
