Mastung / Khad Kucha — The criminal network and alleged kidnapping-for-ransom operations of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) have been exposed following the abduction of two civilians and the seizure of a commercial vehicle belonging to a private courier company in Khad Kucha, Balochistan.

Khad Kucha Abduction and Ransom Demand

According to available details, armed members of the banned BLA stopped a private courier company’s Shehzore vehicle in Khad Kucha on July 24, 2026, and abducted the two civilians traveling in it.

On July 26, the abductors allegedly contacted the owner of the courier company and demanded Rs25 million in exchange for the safe release of the hostages. They reportedly threatened to kill the abducted men if the ransom was not paid.

“The activities of the banned BLA are no longer limited to armed attacks but have expanded to organized crimes, including bank robberies, vehicle theft, extortion, and kidnapping for ransom.”
