Balochistan Scholarship Programs Expand Higher Education Access for Students
QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has stepped up efforts to support deserving students through scholarship initiatives aimed at improving access to higher education across the province.
Separate educational events held in Loralai and Zhob highlighted ongoing government measures to financially assist talented students and promote academic excellence.
An orientation session regarding scholarship opportunities for female students was also organized at Government Girls Degree College Zhob under the education reform agenda of the provincial government.
Officials informed participants that, with support from the World Bank, 400 fully funded scholarships have been introduced for female students from across Balochistan.
The scholarship program is specifically designed for intermediate graduates seeking admission to four-year BS degree programs at leading universities in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.
According to officials, all educational expenses of selected students will be covered by the provincial government under the initiative.
Authorities encouraged eligible students to submit applications on time and take advantage of the opportunity to secure quality higher education and a brighter future.
The initiative is being viewed as an important step toward increasing educational opportunities, particularly for female students and youth from remote areas of Balochistan.
