Balochistan Launches First Women’s Entrepreneurship AI Lab

QUETTA: In a major step toward women’s empowerment, digital inclusion, and economic independence, Balochistan has launched its first Entrepreneurship AI Lab for Women.

The AI Lab was inaugurated by Adviser to the Chief Minister on Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch, in collaboration with the Women Development Department and DOCH Private Limited.

The initiative aims to provide women with training in artificial intelligence, digital skills, entrepreneurship, and modern technology, enabling them to become financially independent and contribute to national development.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Rubaba Khan Baloch said the women of Balochistan possess immense talent and potential, adding that the government is committed to preparing them for the demands of the modern digital era.

She emphasized that education alone is not sufficient and that women must also have access to technology, innovation, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

According to officials, the AI Lab will serve as a platform for women to explore artificial intelligence, digital innovation, freelancing, and online business opportunities while developing skills for technology-driven careers.

The initiative is expected to open new avenues for employment, startups, freelancing, and digital entrepreneurship for women across the province.
