Islamabad: Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that Balochistan's sustainable development, peace, and prosperity are closely linked to Pakistan's national security and long-term economic future. He made these remarks while addressing participants of the National Workshop Balochistan at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Welcoming parliamentarians, civil servants, members of civil society, youth, academics, and media representatives from across the country, he described the workshop as an important platform for promoting inter-provincial harmony, dialogue, and mutual trust.

He described the Aghaz-e-Huqooq-e-Balochistan Package, the 7th NFC Award, and the payment of provincial royalties as important milestones aimed at protecting Balochistan's rights.
"Development, peace, and national unity cannot be separated. All hostile designs will fail in the face of the determination and patriotism of the people of Balochistan," said Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
